We called Jamal around 8 o'clock on a Wednesday night when my check engine light came on the night before a long road trip. We were fortunate to find Walker Automotive mobile repair when our 2016 Jetta's check engine light came on around 8pm. We had a 6+ hr road trip planned the next morning (talk about panic). Jamal answered our call right away, was able to let us know what we needed to do, and within an hour he was out our house working on our car. He was done in less than an hour, replaced the engine ignition coils and the spark plugs. We test drove the car afterwards and it felt like new.  Jamal was extremely professional, knowledgeable, affordable, and most importantly, reliable. Thank you Jamal, not only for fixing our car at the last minute, but for saving our trip!

I contacted Walter at 11pm on Wednesday requesting to schedule a tune-up. To my surprise Walker responded saying his availability was Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. I was expecting Friday afternoon or next week. My car was ready in 90 minutes! He does outstanding work and his communication is top tier. He told me what to purchase from AutoZone and charged me a very fair labor price. He definitely has a repeat customer. Small businesses are the way to go!

I hired Jamal Walker to come to my house and put new brake pads and new Spark Plugs on my 2006 Lexus LS430. Jamal purchased all the needed parts and completed the job promptly and meticulously. And he charged me less than all the estimates of all the regular shops that I called before I contacted him. After he finished, he even fixed my windshield wipers and checked my tires without any additional charges. Based on this experience I have concluded that Jamal, besides being a highly skilled mechanic, he is also an honest, caring and accommodating individual and I recommend him highly without any reservations.

LIFESAVERS!!! We are in Orlando from Miramar beach when our car broke down. We were on our way to a restaurant when the car shutdown completely, lights went off, brakes stopped working, no power steering nothing. Very scary situation!! We managed to pull the car over to the side of the road. We called around and no one was able to help us. We found this # on google and we are so glad we did. They came down very quickly. They picked up the part we needed from auto one and fixed our car while educating us about it all within a short timeframe. Their professional, relaxed, happy demeanors made a bad situation so much more bearable. Bear in mind this is late at night. Happy to get home to our kids. Thankful for these guys. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. I Originally wanted to pay for a diagnostic… which they said was $70 and if they are doing the repairs, they would waive the diagnostic fee…. Long story short, they tried to charge me $350 to replace the starter sensor after “diagnosing” my car that was stuck on the side of the road…. $350 for a sensor that took the mechanic Miguel about 15 min to take out……. He also ripped out one of my fuses and tossed it on the windshield. Good thing I looked after he left. AND TO PUT THE ICING ON THE CAKE……THE STARTER SENSOR WAS NOT THE REAL PROBLEM…..take your business to more trustworthy people. Not people like this that are so money hungry and greedy that they would rip you off when you’re already in a bad situation. I am a woman and I was stranded on the side of the road alone. If that doesn’t speak VOLUMES on the type of business they are running, I honestly don’t know what will. Stay safe.

Derwin showed up to the appointment early. He did an amazing job. He was knowledgeable and informative and very professional, and he was very appreciative of me rearranging my vehicles in order to give him a shaded area in my garage to work in because it was about 90 degrees outside lol…overall 10/10 for NuBrakes.

Highly disappointed I saw the ratings for the company and thought they were be good, first a foremost I want to say my vehicle is a 2019 BMW x5, I had asked for front rotors, brakes and an oil change with filter  Upon completion which took them two attempts to gather parts, I ended up with two random lights on the car “Stop carefully brake system, the other said chassis stabilization”  These lights were not on previously, upon testing the new brake system pushing the brakes in felt like a sponge, since those lights are on I lost lots of my driving assistance the car provides  I mentioned the issue to them via text because they won’t answer the phone, and they said yes well you need rear brakes for the lights and a new sensor,  Which make no sense the rear brakes and sensors should have never been touched and were fine, and there was no lights on my car until they touched it, so something is fishy, I think they also messed up a sensor putting my car on jacks bcz my stabilization lights are on  “Maybe they aren’t experienced with BMW or other high end cars so after spending around $1000 I now have to go to bmw and spend more money for issues they caused”  Pictures below

What a great experience! Been wanting to get my brakes fixed, but could not get the time to take it to a shop. Found NuBrakes and their customer service is great- communicated effectively and even offered a discount for being a new customer. Technician Maui arrived on time at my home, and was wonderful. He worked quickly and explained what the car could still use some work on, in the future. He was in and out in way less than an hour. Will definitely use this service again.

I absolutely loved this service! Derwin was a fantastic technician who knew what he was doing and is very proud of his work. He was able to come to my apartment and change all my pads/rotors for a very great price and with a nice warranty! My car brakes so much smoother now.
