I had multiple services done, and I am thoroughly impressed on the services that I received. Although I had to get a lot of work done, he made sure to complete the job in a very timely matter due to me needing my car back due to my busy schedule . The prices were exceptional and very affordable! Every penny that was spent was well worth it. I now have a new mechanic! Thank you so much for your great customer service and timely help! Services received: -Breaks -Rotors -Radiator Fan -etc.  Turnaround was 2 days, but only due to the parts that needed to be ordered.

Quick response time and fast service. Kept me updated on ETA’s. Professional and very knowledgeable. Inexpensive. Will definitely be using W and S again in the future for my auto care.

Called w& S told William I had an rv that needed a couple belts replaced and he said no problem he just had to finish up the job he was doing. He showed up and said it wasn't to bad couple hours he said. But it's no pice of cake finding a belt for an rv , no auto parts had a clue on what to look for.  It's an 88 winnebago , after 10 trips to 8 different auto parts stores all over elk Grove and even further into Sacramento he finally found one ,this was at least 3 and a half to 4 hours of driving around Sacramento, and then he got to work about 35 minutes later it was running as good as before. I had got one price from him when he showed up but I told him he had to charge me for his time running around, after he gave me the bill ,it was so cheap I gave him another 50 bucks and told him he is a life saver and my go to mobile mechanic and will refer any body that I know to him. Thank you W & S for great work and service.

I was calling mechanics all around Elk Grove, all quoting outrageous prices for a belt replacement. They quoted me a completely reasonable price, super polite and respectful of your time. 100% would recommend.

Thanksgiving this year was one for the books!  While visiting my folks, they had a plumbing backup with an extremely unfortunate experience with a local plumber.  THEN, my daughter's alternator failed.  The Saturday after Thanksgiving, the only auto repair shops that were open were booked.  We were in a bind.  THANK GOODNESS we found William (and Sarah) of W & S Mobile.  We called William, he was with a customer and called us right back. We explained the situation, gave him year make model, within 30 minutes, he found the part and gave us a quote over the phone.  William then got the part, came over, and set to work.  The alternator replacement took TWICE as long as William quoted.  Then, the battery was also weak, so he went and picked up a new battery for us.  AND because of a default security measure, had to reprogram the key fob.  It was dark and cold, but they were not going to leave until the vehicle was running.  Guess what? At the end of the long day, William HONORED HIS ORIGINAL PRICE (other than the cost of the battery of course), despite my requests to charge appropriately for his time.  Super nice couple, great service, highly recommend (even when you're not in a pinch!)

I would give 5 stars but after my radiator was replaced my check engine light came on. I called to see if they could come check it. 9ver a month now no call back. Come to find out the new radiator was not new. Another mechanic checked it out. Its not a new radiator. I paid for 3 hours labor it didn't take 3 hours and didn't receive money back. All that was replaced was the coolant tank and hose re attached. I paid $593 plus 160 for his initial diagnosis that he spent 20 mins to diagnose and said rest of that 160 would go towards repairs.

My car died on me this Sunday afternoon after running some errands and I had no idea what to do. A friend mentioned using a mobile mechanic before, so I Google searched and thankfully ended up calling A1 over the other competition.  Josh answered my call, assured he would come take a look after getting some basic info and he was an absolute delight. Such a nice, genuine man who wanted to help get me back on the road. At first it seemed that I needed a jump to get back on the road, but he assured me that if it happened again he would come out and replace my battery.  Lo and behold, it happened to me again at the grocery store. I called Josh right away and he was so willing to help get my battery changed out and this was at peak 3-4 afternoon time on a Sunday. He had great communication as he was traveling, was up front about costs and you can tell he is THE car man.  He made the experience so comfortable and kept my stress at bay by making friendly conversation, walking me through what he was doing, and even sharing his knowledge with me on other car related fixes that were beneficial to me. There was never pressure to add any additional services, but he did advise me on some things he noticed. I feel that he is someone I would 100% trust to care for my car in the future.  I thank you so very much for spending a big chunk of your Sunday helping me out of my mini nightmare. Your kindness and genuine personality meant so much. Great service , honest mechanic, fair pricing, nice guy. I'm very thankful for his help and being available on Sundays. My car was stranded in a parking lot and would not start with a jump, this was due to a poorly connected battery but that is something I wouldn't know. This is a guy I will call again if I need mechanic help for my car.

The best - responsive and honest, Josh was top flight in all ways.  Met me on a Sunday afternoon, diagnosed the issue on the spot (wheel bearing), explained the risk if I continued to drive, and fixed it at a reasonable price.  He provided further diagnosis on other parts of the front suspension and tires without me ever feeling like he was upselling or looking to do unnecessary work.  A-1 Mobile Service will be my first call always in Sacramento.

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with the mobile mechanics of Sacramento. I called them for an inspection of my vehicle, but what I received was far from professional service. The mechanic who arrived not only overcharged me, but also moved my vehicle without my permission and left it in a dirty condition. To make matters worse, they failed to properly reinstall the battery.  Concerned about the issues they claimed to find, I took my car to Lexus for a thorough inspection. To my surprise, everything the mobile mechanic said was wrong turned out to be completely false.  I attempted to reach out to the mechanics of Sacramento to discuss my concerns and for a return of my funds, but despite multiple calls, I never received a response. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially for a service-based business.  It’s disheartening to see companies like this operate, especially when I always try to support small businesses and give them the benefit of the doubt.. even when I knew the mechanic was over charging. I felt forced.. They shouldn’t be allowed to mislead and take advantage of customers. I strongly advise against using their services. Save yourself the hassle and seek a more reliable mechanic that doesn’t steal from customers.  I will be adding phone records as well as photos of the after state of the vehicle. I am disappointed even more that they could t even call back and resolve this issue.. no one should be over charged. As well as charged for a service that never happened

Brian is great !  He totally worked with us on coming to see a used car at dealership, he went above and beyond!  I have great piece of mind and a great car now! Worth every cent

After calling around to multiple mobile Mechanics, I spoke with Eric. I let him know that I had a fleet of about 10 trucks that we need normal maintenance on, on a regular basis and I was looking for a new mechanic to help out. He seemed kind enough on the phone and sounded like he knew what he was talking about.  I decided to set him up to come out for a couple oil changes to see how he would do. We made the appt on a Friday and he was to come by the shop on Monday at 330pm.  Monday rolls around and I had a question for him. I called and texted him at 10am... No return call/text. I tried him again around noon, still nothing. I tried again around 2pm, left another voicemail and text still nothing.  I had to leave the shop, so I had an employee stay to meet him at 330. Around 3pm, he called our shop number and spoke to my office manager (I had given him my cell number on Friday to contact me, plus in my voicemails and text messages). He called to say he won't be there until 4pm. So, I had my employee wait until 415pm and still no show or call, so I told my employee to head home and lock up.  Eric never called to say he wasn't coming that day, he just ghosted. He called me on my cell the next morning saying he didn't see my messages until 9 at night (who doesn't check their phone when they run a business)? He said he didn't have my number with him the day before, to call me directly, but he didn't ask my office manager for it either, to which he told her I never gave him my number. I was hoping to have found someone with good communication and follow through, but Eric is not the guy for us, unfortunately. He may be a good mechanic, but communication is key and he did not deliver that.

My first time using a mobile service.  They got to my house the next morning after my call.  The mechanic was friendly and professional.  He made the repair very quickly, gave me back the used parts and I feel the cost was very reasonable.  I will definitely be using them again

Great Honest Guy. He came through found the problems that another Mechanic Left Behind and Fixed My Car. He Is A Gery Knowledgeable Man and He Wven Taught Me A Few Things While He Fixed My Car. The Prices Were Fair, He Stuck Around Until Nightfall just to make sure everything was working correctly on my vehicle. I’d suggest you call him before you try anywhere else. 5 Stars Isn’t Enough.
