When the A/C in my vehicle was not performing up to snuff, and with a road trip coming up, I went in search of a repair service.  After reviewing a number of options, I decided to contact KOOL2U because the numerous reviews were so very positive and I was intrigued by the idea of a mobile service.  My call was promptly answered by Diana, who was so gracious and courteous, listened to my description of the situation, provided an explanation of the diagnostics procedure, gave me a very reasonable (and accurate) estimate, and lucky for me was able to schedule me for the last appointment of day.  Master Mechanic Aaron arrived and got right to work, explaining each and every step of the process with ease and clarity.  He performed an excellent job getting my system up and running in tip top shape and I couldn’t be happier about it.  I don’t think it has ever been so chill!  As a hobby car enthusiast, it was an interesting, educational, and eye-opening experience that I totally enjoyed gaining knowledge about, along with a greater appreciation of the complexity of a system that I realize I had neglected by not having it on a regular maintenance schedule.  Aaron is a superb teacher and, besides being a convenience for me, the mobile service is an absolute plus as I would not have learned any of the great information if I had left it at a shop. I have a very old car that many mechanics in the San Antonio area either could not diagnose or were not comfortable working on. Aaron was the opposite, extremely knowledgeable in his craft and efficient in his work. He was able to get a full conversion done on my 1983 Mercedes and get the air blowing cold again.  One of the best parts of the experience was not having to figure out how to drop the car off at a shop and pick it up again.  The work also comes with a warranty which is really great that if I have an issue again it will be covered by the warranty.  I think Aaron might be the best in the business around here, and I think this was definitely worth the money to be able to drive my baby around in the summer again.  Thanks again Aaron!

My dodge ram was leaking antifreeze. I called VIP mobile mechanic. When Mr Padilla arrived he started trouble shooting the problem to see where the leak was coming from. After throughly checking he found the problem  and started explaining to me where the problem was. Amazing! I love these people and I’m so thankful for them! I was stranded on the side of the road tire blew and then I ran out of fuel while trying to figure out how I was going to get my tire fixed. We were on our way back home towing my in-laws belongings in an enclosed trailer. We had a blowout on interstate 35 with no way to change it out. I was in a tight spot because I was at a dealership needing a pre-purchase inspection, and the first mechanic I hired didn't show up. I called Gary and he came out immediately. He was friendly, professional, and *very* thorough in his inspection, pointing out anything that needed repair, and how much average repairs cost, making me feel completely comfortable moving forward with negotiations and purchase of the vehicle at the dealership. Highly recommend!

I had high hopes when he responded immediately and was able to come diagnose within 20 minutes. He was very respectful but he has now stood me up for the repairs twice which is unfortunate. If you need your vehicle to be operable quickly, I would not suggest this business. It is now 2 days later and I still don't have a car. I should have just towed it to Midas or something.

3/17/2020 UPDATE:  They dropped the ball, never communicated with me again!!  I had bought the part they said I needed, where they said to buy it, but they didn't come back when they said they would.  No explanation, no response to my calls, never heard from them again.  (I'm sorry for taking so long to change my rating.)  On 10/16/2019 I texted Reliable MM about needing a diagnostic run on my truck, I was called back right away and they came by a few hours later as planned.  $40 for a diagnostic was both reasonable and less than what others charge.  I am very pleased with their prompt communication and thorough diagnosing of my truck.  I am going to have them work on my truck and will update my review if less than 5 stars is warranted.
