There is a reason Jeff has so many positive reviews. He was communicative, reasonably priced, and efficient. I am not sure what else you'd want from a mechanic, especially one who comes to your door to work. Highly recommend.

Stop looking and just call Jeff. We had done a little back and forth texting going over my issues and some car info. He came out when he said he would, diagnosed immediately (bad starter), and quoted me. Obviously a very knowledgeable guy with very reasonable prices. I agreed and about an hour later my car was ready to hit the road. Outstanding experience. I'll definitely be using Jeff for future services and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of reliable, professional and affordable repairs.

Called with a last minute emergency request when I was in a bind and he called me back immediately and was more than happy to come to me and help. He got the parts and showed up incredibly fast. I came here with my diesel van when no other mechanics could see me. They had me in and out within a day a fixed my issue with no problem. Fair and honest mechanic. Highly recommend. With most dealerships hiking up prices and most not working on diesel or having a year long wait, La Jolla mobile is a a definite must.

They took my job on a Sunday for Monday morning. Starter went out. Nobody really answers their phones on Sunday. I got it back, early afternoon Monday. They had cleaned up the battery terminal too. Overall, the work was clean. I took it back and had them do the front rotors and pads. Also smooth. Thanks for your patience with scheduling guys.

My son repaired the wheel hub and bearing on Jan. 2023. For unknown reason it come out the noisy sound when press brake. I went to other store and need to install the new one since it is damaged. Never used a mobile mechanic before decided I'd give it a try. I had my alternator go out the day before which was on a Saturday I was going to do it myself but you know how that goes you have to be motivated to do a mechanical job 😄.... Anyway I couldn't drive my vehicle to a shop because I had little to no power due to the alternator going bad so the next day ( Sunday ) I decided to look up some reputable auto mechanics Novo actually was the 4 mobile mechanic I decided to call the first 3 didn't answer and I left them voicemails... After 3hrs and no response to the first 3 I found Novo and decided to give them a call . . Only a couple rings in and Steve answered the phone , told him my issue and he put me on hold for a minute and got back on and quoted me a price I thought it was a bit high at first so I kinda hesitated and right away Steve responded with if it's the price your concerned with and I told him yeah because I had already spent over $200 for my alternator and right away he told me he could knock it down a bit which I was satisfied with... Considering for the travel to my place and being able to come over to my house within the hr you can't beat that nor complain... Wally was the guy who was my mechanic along with his helper haully not sure if that's how you spell his name but to make it short and simple they both checked a few things first to make sure the alternator was the issue which it was and they got right to work . . After about a half hr the job was done . . Professional, reliable, and convenient, willing to work with you on the price but keep in mind all the convenience of a mobile mechanic coming to your home and saving you time to have to get your vehicle towed to a shop or just in general so you can't hassle to much with the prices... Definitely get what you pay for . . Will definitely recommend and if needed will be calling for future service if needed . . 👍👍👍. .  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks Novo ! ! !

I was having issues with my truck, felt like it was something over my head. had them come out same day which was amazing. the guy and i figured it was probably a bad alternator. and some other electrical issues. said they would call me tomorrow with a price. i can change an alternator. but figured if there was other issues i would just let them deal with it all.  the tech said it wouldn't be more then an hour of labor to change it out. which makes sense. its right on top easy to get to no biggy. they call me with the price. its over $700. wanted to charge me $100 more for the part then i could get it for. and then the guy on the phone had the balls to tell me it would be 3-3.5 hours of labor to change it out. guess what it took me, a non mechanic, about 40 minutes to change it. if you are gunna try to rip people off try a little harder.

Best Service 2025 Award! Jay arrived in 20minutes - no joke. Showed up with OEM stuff for my Subaru. It was like a car 9-1-1 response AND for a very annoying and complicated problem. Also I am a woman and felt comfortable talking to Steve and Jay both. Super pleasant experience. Will rec to all. Could not thank them enough!!!

Thanks to Paul and the guys at NOVO I was able to get my starter installed quickly and efficiently. Paul also stayed behind for a while to make sure my test drive with the truck went smoothly. Highly recommend.

If what you’re looking for is reliability, this mechanic is NOT for you.  They were quick with a diagnosis overnight and identified the issue and part I would need. I originally thought they seemed like good, honest mechanics and was planning on leaving a glowing review. They let me know they’d pick up the part at 8am and service my car after. At 8:12am they let me know the cost for the part was higher than initially thought and they were going to have to wait a bit longer for it. I agreed to the higher price but stopped hearing from them since then. I tried texting them 30min later, then called, and I’ve been completely ghosted. Now I had to call a series of local mechanics to try to get serviced before my 2.5 hour drive back home, pay someone else for a diagnostics fee, and service.  Overall I wouldn’t recommend their service unless you have time to call up several other mechanics.

Billy damaged my car and is now avoiding me. When he came to me originally, my car was in need of a replacemebt starter. He worked hard to get it replaced but the car wouldnt start still. He charged me the cost of the starter alone and recomended i go to the dealership to find out the problem. I did and the dealership reported that Billy damaged my car in 2 places. One of which would require a $2,000+ repair.  Billy claimed that he would pay for the bills from the Honda dealership if he caused any damage as well as fix or pay for it to be fixed if he caused damage. Despite this he has not paid for anything nor fixed anything and is currently avoiding my attempts to reach out.

Billy and Jessica was just amazing I came to San Diego from Merced and my car pretty much shit on me when I got here it was a Friday and just about noon and I was stuck car over heating smoking just stressed well they definitely came and saved the day it was my radiator😳 They replaced it within 2 hrs and I must say that’s pretty good for not being at his shop and coming to me stuck in a parking lot downtown San Diego and the price compared to others was so affordable I highly recommend them they are amazing people who run a damn good business THANK YOU BILLY AND JESSICA IM FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR YOUR GUYS ASSISTANCE 👍

I've never been in a situation where I had to call on a mobile mechanic. But because of a emergency with my Toyota 4runner. I found the Best From start to finish I was kept informed of everything and I Highly recommend Billy's mobile mechanic to anyone in need. Wow. Billy helped service a 2006 Hyundai Tucson that was just bought. And oh boy did it have a lot of underlying issues. Was able to diagnose it within less than an hour, at an affordable price !! Very honest mechanic. Told us exactly what needed to be repaired and how much it would be, I was scared the prices were gonna be overboard but they are AFFORDABLE!!! Recommend everyone to come here, plus he doesn’t mind pulling up to check out a car at 11:00 pm midnight
