Professional mechanic! Showed up on time and the price he negotiated in the beginning didn’t change at the end even though he spent more time to fix my car.

After a quick Google search a week ago, I found K Mobile Mechanic.  I immediately texted Kamal about getting an oil change and a simple tune up at 120,000  miles for my 2015 Toyota Tundra pickup truck.  He showed up as promised the next day and did a beautiful job in a reasonable amount of time.  He also did a quick diagnostic of my starter and alternator without charging me extra. Kamal did an awesome job on my BMW X4 brakes. He did the work in my driveway and was super prepared. He even bought replacement sensors on his own and swapped them out for just the cost of the sensors since he already had the brakes taken off. I will definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone that has small to medium repairs needed. Super convenient and just a nice guy. I ended up tipping him since it was so convenient and the work was on point and way less than a repair shop, mobile mechanics are a game changer.

Upon first meeting Kamal he drove up in an old school van filled with ALL his tools, an older gentleman that looked like he was ready to work.  I looked at his withered hands that looked rough and worn and I smiled to myself and knew "God sent one of his finest to fix our BIG RED." (BIG RED is my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD - BIG BEAST of a Truck). I initially called Kamal to change the Fuel Pump on BIG RED. He arrived at my house around 10AM and It's a good thing My Husband was there to give him a helping hand. Along with fixing The fuel pump Kamal also restored minor things back into the engine that a different Mechanic took apart and didn't charge me extra. The rate he quoted me from the Begining NEVER WENT UP (Even though everything took 3 hours longer than expected) & was Exactly what he asked for when his job was complete. Thank you Kamal! You did an AMAZING Job. We'll be calling you in 2 weeks to look at our Nissan Frontier (Yellow Bird). :) Thanks Again Kamal. God Bless You!

Had a tricky car problem and wasn't sure how much of a pain in the ass it would be to solve. But Trity ended up doing an awesome job and I actually ended up saving a ton of money on the fix. Highly recommend.

My friend referred me to this shop for an oil change.  I brought my own synthetic oil and oil filter.  The shop was very busy in the late afternoon with cars filling the bay and on the outside, but Diep was very helpful and friendly in changing my the oil on my Camry after just a short wait for him finishing service on another car.  The cost is very reasonable and service was very fast.  I'll bring my vehicles back here for service again.

My coolant sensor went off in my car and I called a bunch of other mechanics who quoted me a ton of money to run tests and diagnostics - I’m so glad i found this place because not only was Diep an absolute delight of a person, he was also extremely pragmatic and kind - turned out it was such an easy fix and he was so accommodating to help right then and there… then sending me on my way in under 10 minutes?! *chefs kiss* It’s so rare to find a mechanic who is kind and honest and I couldn’t help but be inclined to leave a review. Awesome car repair shop. The owner is very honest and polite. Not only that he helps with your car problems and won’t cheat you for money. I’d highly recommend him for anyone who doesn’t know enough about their cars and wants a honest mechanic to come in and help you in a fair way. 10/10 recommend

Had a recent service with Moe and it was great! My rear brakes started to have grinding sounds and dealership quoted $800+ for rear rotor and pads ( which sadly is a common price in Bay Area). Found Moe, who answered promptly, provided his service to my home with an upfront price that is half less than dealership. The best part was being able to still plan my day and stay comfortably at home while waiting for the service to arrive. Work was decent and Moe was a great guy to work with! I really like his business model and I felt I was benefited from it a lot. Keep up the great job! Definitely will reuse and recommend to friends. :)

The way I'm about to write this review might make some question its authenticity, but it's completely genuine. My girlfriend and I are from Southern California, but she works in the Bay Area due to her job and has a second home there. During one of my recent visits to see her, she encountered some car issues. We had it towed to a shop where they managed to fix the problem. While it was there, we asked them to thoroughly inspect it and let us know what else needed attention so we could take care of it all at once. The next morning, the shop called us to discuss everything, and when they mentioned the brakes, I immediately said there was no way we were paying that much for new brakes and rotors. I adamantly said that it would be cheaper to fly my brother up from SoCal and buy him a six-pack of beer and have him do it, than to have them do it. They wanted over $1,700 for the front and back. My girlfriend was inclined to pay it for peace of mind, but I couldn't let that happen. So, I quickly searched for brake shops online. The first place I called was Midas, which quoted $1,150—less than the mom-and-pop shop, but I knew there had to be inexpensive options. That's when I found Moe’s Mobile Brakes. I was immediately interested because I needed to head back to SoCal soon, and my girlfriend works nights, making it difficult for her to handle things like this. I called Moe, explained our situation, and he was absolutely amazing! If we had the car out of the shop that night, he was willing to do it right then. We ended up having him do the work at her job while she was working, and that was it. I don't want to disclose exactly how much he charged, as prices may vary, but for her 2015 Honda Accord, it was $650 to change both the brakes and rotors, front and back! Without a doubt, this is the person you want to do business with because not only is the price more than fair, but he also makes it easy and convenient, and he's honest. As someone who values trust, it means a lot to me that I could rely on someone to work on her car without trying to take advantage, and he got the job done. I'm extremely thankful. So, with all that said, thank you, Moe!

My brakes were making noise as its been 4 years since my last brake pad replacement. I drive a lot to SoCal and back. So having an experienced person is vital. I always used to trust big name franchise mechanic shops but didn’t feel like the employees do an A+ job and something is always off. And rarely do same day appointments. So I called Moe and scheduled an appointment and luckily he had availability the same day. Competitive pricing, careful, and personable. Will recommend to my friends.

Excellent service.  Moe was running a little late but promptly alerted me to this via text.  Very convenient to have the work done at your house rather than taking the car to a brake shop and either waiting or dealing with transportation to and from the shop.  Moe explained what he was doing and the price was very reasonable.  Would use the service again and recommend to others.

I recently started to hear quite a bit of squeaking from my front brakes (especially diver's side). I took the car for oil change and was told a staggering amount for replacing the front rotors and break pads to which i rejected the proposal and started looking for mobile brake repair services. Moe's company came on top in the google search and i must say  I couldn’t be happier with the service.  Moe communicated his ETA and was in the time window that was mentioned. Best mechanic in San Jose! We’re customers of many years beginning when they were walking distance from our house. You could eat off the floor of the garage. They’re easy to find, have a secure parking lot, and a comfortable customer lounge. I won’t bring our vehicles anyplace else.

I came to this garage for an oil change on my Volkswagen GTI and was very impressed by their service. Not only was the oil change done efficiently, but the team also detected a problem with my water pump during the inspection.  What I particularly appreciated was their honest approach. Instead of pushing to do the repair immediately, the mechanic informed me about the issue and advised me to first check with my dealership to see if the part was still under warranty. They were ready to do the repair if needed, but recommended this prior check in my best interest.  Thanks to their sound advice, I contacted my dealership, who confirmed that the water pump repair would be covered under warranty, at no cost to me.  I am extremely satisfied with the integrity and professionalism of this garage. It's rare to find such transparency and customer focus. I recommend them without hesitation for their excellent work and remarkable honesty!  A big thank you to the whole team!

Worked with Michael who was super helpful.  After approving some work to be done on my car, there were some last minute changes I wanted to make. Luckily, no parts were ordered yet and Michael was so understanding and accomadating to my car needs. Customer service was great.

I recently went in for an oil change and the shop is hidden a little bit. The man behind the counter was quick to greet me and ask what my needs were. His name was Michael he was well spoken and able to go above and beyond explaining what the milestone maintenances were for my car so I chose to do a few. He was able to complete all tasks in the said time frame and when I came back to get my car I received my receipt and a list of things done including what may be needed at future times for my records which is convenient. My vehicle actually runs much smoother now and I couldn't be more happy  this was about 3 days ago so I wanted to wait to review how my vehicle runs before providing a review. Overall I will be a return customer, would recommend.

Michael has amazing customer service! He explains my car issues to me in everyday terms. It makes me feel a lot more comfortable to make decisions that are best for me regarding my car. They always ask for consent before they do anything to my car and they give me a good price breakdown. In my experience Reliable Auto has been respectful, fair, and friendly.

I dealt with Michael. I needed to have a purchased car inspection. I was out of town and offered to pay extra to have the car picked up and dropped off. Michael declined the offer and only charged a minimal amount for the uber fee. He charged me a very fair fee for a through inspection. He sent photos, a detailed explanation and didn’t try to sell me any service. The preventive age related repairs he suggested were fairly priced. Throughout the whole process, he was professional, knowledgeable, honest and helpful. I’m very private and don’t leave reviews but I am grateful and impressed with the wonderful service and integrity of this business. Thank you.

Very rude and unprofessional.  We arrived early to drop off our car for an appointment on March 19th for a tune up and service.  When we arrived the guy at the counter said it's just an oil change. We were quoted $1000 over the phone for a tune up.  The guy said he can't tell us what happened because his co worker who scheduled us wasn't there and shrugged his shoulders.  We left and took it to a place more organized with better customer service.

I have been coming here since first moving to the area late last year in 2023. I highly recommend this shop. The team here is phenomenal, and I plan to continue doing business with them.

These folks are AWESOME. My husband and I can usually fix most of whatever is going on with our Honda, but we encountered something unknown and needed help. We called and they said they couldn't work on it immediately but to bring it in and take a look anyway. While checking things out, one of the mechanics noticed a little oil leak we didn't see and tightened it up real quick for us too. We were told to bring her back Wednesday, given a wonderful price quote for the labor and we're feeling much less stressed out about the entire thing. Thank you all so much!  Edit to add: had the service done and it was quick and they even charged us less than the original quote. Truly, thank you! 💚

I've been driving cars for over 50 years and I've been to many repair shops. Bay area Auto service are very knowledgeable people and you can rest assured that you will never be overcharged for anything. Such nice people! I called Ariel that my engine light is on and asked how much is diagnostics, she’s like “girl, it’s free!” I called an auto shop in Morgan hill, and they charge $199, and then another shop in Milpitas, and they asked for $245, and finally Toyota dealership, and they asked for $300………… what is with all these places?!?!  Ariel discovered that it was a minor code P0456. The technician, Thuan, Checked my oil cap thing, said it’s old and to replace it. And it’s free charge of their time. THAT WAS IT!!!!!!  I will totally come back here for my future car issues. Thank you!!!! 🙏

Confirmed the oil change for my specific car would be $85 over the phone but when I came in they switched it up to $95. They seem to just make up their prices as they please. Wouldn’t return

Just left a few hours ago.  Went in during lunch time to get an oil change for my vehicle .  Let it to them and went to lunch nearby.  Came back and hour later and it was done.  And paid my bill  When I got back to the my work.  I checked underneath for oil leaks and unfortunately I saw there were several drips on the underbody of the vehicle .  I called them back and they told me to bring it back asap.  They put it up on the mounts and removed the plastic covers  They inspected it and saw there was no leaks in the engine.  The oil drip was from the plastic covers that had oil splatter when the oil was being changed  They had me look under the vehicle to confirm when the cover was off  They are easy to work with and good customer service

This place is definitely too busy. Took the guy 3 weeks to get back to me about my car when it was running. Good all along. On top of that he was trying to charge me to replace something that did not need to be replaced. 😭

They suck. take weeks to even LOOK at the car and ur lucky if that’s even going to happen. so then after a bit I decided to go get it and came back to a scratch . Do not come here. it’s expensive, overpriced, and a huge risk and gamble.
